This may bore you so I’ll do it in a way that can be read fast

- I started college last year and met this guy in my class
- We got on so well and spent so much time together
- We started going out a bit but stopped it and decided friends would be better
- I have always liked him but being friends was good enough for me
- This college year he and I live together , we are best friends
- I’m 21 and he is 27
- This college year I fell for him even more
- He had been flirting with me at one point so I asked about it but he denied it
- I made the choice to move on and I met this amazing guy that I am really getting on with
- Told my friend about him last night and he decided to tell me he really likes me as more than a friend and was really upset.
- He says it’s my choice as to what happens now

I just don't know what to say....things are going to be weird now and I don't want that.

Uhm, He had his chance, No?: "We started going out a bit but stopped it and decided friends would be better." I'd imagine that was his decision and you just went along with it because you thought having some of him was better then none of him.

You're in college and you're likely not going to end up spending the rest of your life with either of them (more likely not with your room-mate because he's just a mind fk) Why make this so difficult. Date the new guy and see how things go but if you're unable to stop crushing on mr. indecisive then don't play with the new guys heart..

And just what solutions did he come up with that has you so confused? Simply telling you what he thinks you want to hear means sweet bugger all. Did he propose a relationship with you? Did he tell you what his plans would be should you be foolish and just drop the new guy with no concrete reasons why you should?
