Shy Guy Advice

Basically..

There's this shy guy that I like. We have only one class together since we're a grade apart.

I see him looking at me quite often for brief moments. For example, I'll find him glancing at me from his seat a few feet away, and right when I meet his gaze he'll avert it to somewhere else. He also will occassionally hold a door for me or let me go first in the hallways. Those opportunites for that are rare and don't come by easily. When he does, though, he has a small smile on his face most of the time.

Today he kind of drew closer towards me. We were setting our chairs on top of the tables and I was kind of wandering about. When he finished stacking his on his chair, he kind of wandered towards the end where I was as well. It's only happened once, so I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not, though.

When we leave from school, he has to walk to the other side from where I wait to wait for his carpool. We face each other most of the time while we're waiting. When he walks over, he also glances back at me a lot.

But today, I found that as we left the classroom, he just rushed off first thing and pretty much left really quickly. He also quickened into a jog a little, if I saw correctly.

Do you think this guy likes me, and if so, what should I do next? I've tried talking, but I'm shy as well, and the timing never seems to be just right. And what happened today? What did his quick leave necessarily mean?
