Do your texts have any meanings most of the time?

You know, I get real sensitive when it comes to texting. Just now my bf msged me, asked about my day and put emoticon. And we texted a few before I said, 'If only we could have constant contact every now and then it would be better, haha. ' Then he replied to my asking of him about other stuffs instead like, 'No I have eaten.' without any emoticon and response to my above statement and no intention to continue the conversation.

And this upset me a little... Still I managed to text back this, 'I see '. He never replied since.

I'm trying not to affect his mood or anything by showing my own emotions. I'm always like that. But deep down, I am upset.

Guys, do you think it has any meanings behind this? Or he's just having a bad moment suddenly? Did I think too much? As a woman, we can't help but feel this way... Sigh... I get happy when he finally texted and upset when he suddenly texts like this... > <'

And it's not like we text often. We only text a few times every other few days? I try not to text back right away as we both would get overwhelmed if we have constant texts... I already gave a lot of space for him... I usually only text back few hours later. And sometimes either not reply after that.

Everything you post is nearly all the same stuff. Basically, you are not happy with this guy as he doesn't pay enough attention to you.

You need to talk to him about this. There is only so much we can say/do.

If you are not happy and he isn't willing to meet you halfway then you should leave the relationship and find a guy who is more compatible with you.

That's what I am talking about hon. You are very insecure in this relationship. To be honest I don't even know if he is that interested in you from what you have said.

Ya..you are over thinking it. The problem with texting is, we can't always read what the other person's emotions over a text. We can't hear their tone of voice or see their facial expressions.

As a result, we are forced to fill in the blanks and guess the meaning behind the text.

But going back to the statement you had given him (If only we could have constant contact) I think he just didn't know how to respond to it. I know you wrote ha ha after it......but what were you really saying? Do you want him to move in? Do you want him to call you all the time? Are you angry at him for not having contact with you?

There is so many things that that statement can mean...and I think he was just trying to figure it out.....
