    a texting question.

so ive been talking to this girl for some time, recently she started texting me a LOT and then now she barely does. It takes time for me to get a response.

i respond right away cause thats the kinda person i am lol.

So, for you ladies. when a guy texts u right away (when u sorta have a hint that he likes you) all the time do you find that u have him in ur hands to play with and don't think that you have to respond right away?

like that feeling u get when u know someone likes you and u feel proud and u dont put as much effort into them as u did before when you didnt know they liked you and now that u know they do u dont have to put in as much effort..

my main question is, should i respond right away or should i let it wait out a bit? because people always say dont respond right away unless its an emergency.

Because before hand when she texted me i sort of waited it out and i would get an instant response from her, now its the other way around.

thanks, its a weird question i know

Lol, nah it's not weird. I am struggling with the response time too. Usually I respond later to save the topic and keep the conversations going. I prolong the convo not because I feel proud, but because I feel that if I respond right away, it's like pressurizing the other person to do the same too. End up we have to text a lot every day, and keep thinking of what to say, how to entertain the other person and how the other person will feel. That's too overwhelming especially for someone who has to handle work, study or other stuffs every day. They need a clear mind to focus on the tasks on hand.

What are you guys 12 year olds? Just respond if you are able to....why wait? Its stupid and immature. Texting has its place so if a texting convo goes more than 10 mins you might as well call.

Want a girls attention and be mature about it? How about telling them you dont text? You like to hear her voice instead...and ignore all texts

You should wait at least 15 minutes before replying to txts from women. this gives the impression that you actually have a life and arnt just sitting watching porn waiting for her to contact you. the only exception to this rule is, if the woman is fine and you know that if you dont reply she will txt someone else and youll end up home alone on a saturday night masturbating over that blonde bird from the big bang theory while shes out on the town with someone who answered her quickly.

yhea thats the problem, its just eaither makes u look desperate or u dont care anymore, i have a feeling she likes me, but does not want to admit it. I dont know what to do, some bad things have happened to me in the past few days and she texted me saying "LOL. someone is mad" and i replied after an hour saying "oh the past few days have been rough, thats all" and she replied with "awwwwieee"

either she doesn't care or does not know what to do. She is honestly a bit immature, i dont know where to begin, there are other women in my life that i can date, but i want her, and at this point im feeling as if shes evading me, eaither she likes me and is shy or does not like me. i Dunno....
