I was dumped for being too clingy 2 days ago. she said she wants to be friends and we can still hangout with friends and all that. I haven't spoken to her since then except seeing her out in public one night. But other then that I have had no contact with her.

Keep doing what you are doing. If she wants you back, let her come to you. In the meanwhile, move on.
