Without dragging the story out too long, here's a summary. Basically, this girl and I have become really great friends over the past 4 years. I tried asking her out once and she said she wasn't interested in that manner, and since then, we've become even greater friends. I'm going to send her a thank you card and was planning on getting her a bouquet as a thank you gift. Would this be appropriate given this situation? I think so, but I'm a little concerned what she would think of it. Any thoughts?

Hes already asked her out once and she chased him. Do you want to shatter his confidence forever? If hes thinking along those lines again, he must wait until her self esteem is sufficiently low to take another chance. Preferebly after shes has a bad break up with a bad boy.

Just an update. I decided to go with it. I gave her a nice bouquet and the card. She wound up giving me a small kiss. Thanks for all the advice
