Ya, I remember, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. If I was chasing a 32 yr old, I'd expect a pretty fit, tight body. If I was chasing a 52 yr old, I'd have some allowance for that. I'm willing to believe she looks good for her age and he was just pumping up his ego a bit by getting an old flame to express interest (then probably moved on with an ex or new lady).

we chase as much as we want, the things that make me stop cold in my tracks would be:

you were not fully honest about you looks ( if meeting off interest ) No false advertizing.
a lie early on ( we are stating fresh no need to lies )
realizing you are to busy to ever date ( why waste the time for a text buddy)
living/job (or lack there of, living at home, not working...etc)
knowing you playing field ( no wasting me time competing for someone, this screams attention whore to me )
we have options ( we will pick if we have them )

as a man we will contact you and keep contacting you if we are into you. do no like to juggle multiples, i prefere find 1 see where it goes until it stops.

you could be a greatest person on earth, but when i see these things i do not feel comfortable with/like i tend to distance myself.

some buzzkills for me this past year that made me stop contact:

not being told she was married
trying to act like my gf after 1 date
    50 million needy texts
sobbing about your life story or current situation
coming to my house with no warning screams desparation to me and ignorant
    playing me with another guy

    Update fella's.
You were all wrong! It turns out he was a bit insecure and embarrassed about some skeletons in his closet. He finally called and laid it all out. He's been blowing up my phone ever since, and I am flying out to see him this fall!

Yeah, I'm 50. I don't weigh what I weighed when I was 20. He doesnt seem to mind one bit.
I remember now why I was so crazy about him back then.
    What a guy!

Glad to see he got back in touch. It seems kind of odd that he had to ignore you for weeks to finally come clean about something in his closet. It must not be too bad since you didn't run away. Seems instead of blowing you off, he would've slowly brought it up in an ongoing dialogue.

Anyway, you seem excited. It can be hard to recapture the past, but have fun, take it for what it is.
