"The One" ?

I've been with my boyfriend for about 9 months now and things are serious. We've talked a little about marriage and the future (he wants to wait for the year mark to seriously talk about it). The past couple of months I've been getting the feeling that he is "the one". Every time I see him I feel like it's slapping me in the face. I want to tell him, but I'm afraid that it's too soon and that I'll scare him off. Should I tell him anyway? How do I tell him? Have any of you told your SO that they're "the one"? How did you do it? What was their reactions?

I did. He was flattered to be compared to Keanu Reeves, but said he didn't believe in Hollywood fairy tales.

I think you should tell him, if it's something you feel so strongly. Be prepared to be misunderstood and/or not hear it back though.
