Do you take online love seriously?

    Is it worth confessing?

I've taken a fancy to this girl on the internet for a few months now. We live far apart. And I'm aware that long distance relationship with someone from the internet is just too unrealistic and high chances are, it's not gonna work. But at some points, I really wanted to tell her my feelings. I'm not sure if it's going to do any good so I've been holding it back. She does seem interested in me too, but I don't think she sees me the same way. I'm 17.

What would you do if you were in my place?

I'd be joining a co-ed sports team or a group of some kind that entails meeting lots of women in real life ~ Ya know, the ones I could actully touch, kiss, hold hands with. You waste your emotions on a fantasy. Why, whats got you scared enough that you haven't been able to hook up with a touchable sweety?

i think you can come in contact with people online. but date or have a relationship online is stupidity fantasy.

once you chat and call a while you supose to meet to see who the person is in open air,

you know what? If you have some kind of emotional connection with this girl, just go for it! Tell her how you feel. It doesn't hurt to try.

I myself fell inlove with the most beautiful girl from Singapore, in march this year (I'm from Sweden myself). She is the best thing that ever happened to me, and it became really real this september when i went to visit her. If you can stand not being able to touch for some time, I'd say GO FOR IT! I haven't regret my decision to tell her how i felt, not even for a second.

I'd say yes and I think online relationships can work and I'd suggest skyping. Confessing you have feelings is a good thing, you have nothing to lose. I would also keep going out locally in case you meet other girls too. Do both, socialise locally and keep in contact with your online relationship.

Why do you people think there can't be feelings just because two people haven't met in real life? The only thing you can't do over the internet these days is touch each other, do you really need to touch to grow fond of someone?
