there were several posts about this a while back. truth is, you can't. the most common may be frequents smiles, greetings, etc...
but thing is, everyone is different. there was a girl i met before that thought i liked her becuz i always said hia dn smiled at her...but i do this to everyone...it's who i am
so the answer is rather vague and mysterious"There are no such things as stupid questions, just stupid people"
