That was not a witticism. It wasn't the least bit funny. A funny deprecating joke is fun. A lifestyle of putting oneself down and it not being the least bit funny is quite another... and it's quite annoying/frustrating and offputting.

Friends ditched me for both movies I actually wanted to see. In that time, I've only gone out once. I've just been reading, doing my homework and dreading the Christmas holiday.
