Curiosity about Break Ups

The first heartbreak is the worst, after that you learn and recover much quicker. I remember getting dumped senior year in high school and taking months to get over it. I have been through a few breakups since then, including one with someone I did truly love, and that only took a couple of months to be completely over.

I haven't experienced it before, but the thought of it, makes me sick.
I am just trying to gauge how long it is on average.

I hate going back to the dating scene, and she happened by accident,
as we met through work, and got to know each other quite well.

I think the break up might happen this summer, if my gut instinct is correct.

It'll be a lot easier, because i did nothing wrong,
and the country and distance made it fall apart.

Who knows, maybe she is currently searching, and is just keeping
me around before she finds someone as my replacement.
