Confusing situation, she keeps canceling on me

Dude she pretty much told you she will never have the time to spend with you, even if you were exclusive. You have to make a decision if you wish to make the sacrific to have a GF that will be only part time to you. To some with a busy life would find this ideal, but you have to take a good look at YOUR expectations. If you want someone you can spend a lot of time with...this ain't the girl for you.

Well, it's good she's shown you that she's interested but the problem of her often-times not being available due to being a slave to her employer(s) is still a problem and shouldn't (IMO) be forgotten about. How are you going to be with putting up with her gone all the time if this should become an exclusive, committed union?

Well, I've thought about this. She works at home, and so do I. She works for an overseas employer so she has a lot more work and her work is a bit more, let's say, chaotic. I freelance, am a part-time teacher (at night) and work on some side-projects. If we ever ended up in a relationship I don't see why we couldn't see each other while we work, since all we need are our laptops, and go out when she'd be more available. Plus, this is temporary, that's one of the reasons why she wants to go back, while there she has a normal working schedule at the office.

Like I said, I don't see why we couldn't work together if we were in a relationship. Sure her job is very time consuming, but she works at home on a laptop.

Yeah I know. I don't even know what to expect/think right now. I feel confused. If she doesn't contact me until sunday I'll probably just try and move on. Which sucks.

Why are you giving up? Just see if she can make a compormise.....if she can't then you will have your answer.

I don't mean give up completely, but start meeting other women, if by sunday I have no word from her. (She's also going overseas for 2 weeks in about a week and a half)
Last thing I want is to give up. It's as I said, I never met anyone like her. Never met anyone so compatible with me.

Alright, just a quick update since this thread had quite some people involved. She sent me a text yesterday, telling me she had read my messages but she wanted to reply to me with an hour to meet me and never could find the time and it just kept getting post-poned, so yesterday she was on a trip for the weekend and sent me the text, telling me that she would also contact me later today. So now I'm waiting. At least she showed initiative again, I guess that means something, now she just has to find some time to be with me.

She had me worried for a bit, and as I said, come sunday if I had no reply I'd start moving along, and if she would contact me later so be it. But well, she did it earlier, so I'm going to see how this week goes along. Same plan I guess.

Thanks to everyone again, never enough to say it, it feels good to vent a little and just let everything on my mind go free here.
