You had broken up with a longterm gf (mutual breakup).

You had no available female friends.

You lived in a country where it's very rare that someone approaches another person on the street, in a library, in a cafe, grocery store, elevator, wherever.

Bars are usually for sitting down with your friends only.

You seriously lacked the game and the nerve needed to pick women at clubs. And that is if you see them in a group that contains no men (rare).

Your friends are not in a position to help you meet people. Nor would you dare ask them that.

You didn't want to use personal ads, because you view it as the ultimate admission of defeat.

Well I wont give a shit what everyone else thinks or what is rare and what not. But just go do what I want and be happy.

Its your ego that keeps you from aproaching girls. You think that people expect you to be just like everyone else in public and dont jump out - being no one.

Ego is not your friend its what keeps you away from action. So far you are blaming your country, friends and lack of game.

You wana do everything right but.
You have self image that will suffer if you gona fail at something - thats why you are not gona to try.

Realise what other(unknown) people think shouldnt affect how you feel. Even more what you do. Give yourself a space inside - a space to take a action. Do something stupid, outrageous in public(like scream, run, lie on the ground look at the people like retarted, make them feel uncomfortable).

Thats the way to crush your ego. Feel free from society. Like kid who is like a white page and dont think about himself like anything bad or anything good. You will be able to say anything you want to girls.
