Unaffectionate Partner, am I doing something wrong?

I've grown used to the fact that my girlfriend is very unaffectionate. Physically she's very affectionate, but when we talk, she never expresses her love verbally and normally throws back mine, normally as a joke.

Just wondering if I am doing something wrong, or if there is anything I can do to help her open up to me? Friends of mine have confirmed that she said she loved me with her entire being and more, so I am not too worried. I just thought maybe there is something I could do to help her open up to me more.

I think in most cases, it is best to concentrate on what she does, rather than what she says. You say she is physically affectionate; let it go. Not everyone is verbally gifted, and maybe she is shy.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

look up the five languages of love. everyone has their own way of expressing love. Her way is probably different to yours. Actions speak louder than words anyway
