i hate when i have to say bye to my girlfriend..i always sort of feel I come off as clingy, but it's only because I know I will miss her :/ Anyone else go through the same thing?

I didn't see anything clingy here. I think you just know how much you miss and want her, so it makes you think you project that as well, when you don't in this case. Relax - you have to look relaxed, confident and sure of yourself - people can pick up on this subconsciously and consciously too.
