possible good news...

Hey guys

I am just dying to share my news. Some of you know I have been looking for a new job. I may have one.

I am still waiting to find out but I know I have a good chance. The only problem is I need two weeks off in September and I told him that. I really hope that doesnt hinder my chances of getting it.

Anyway the job is managing and running a clothing store as well as a company website. It will be challenging, stressful and hard work but I want it sooo bad. Id give anything to have a job that keeps me busy all day long and that comes with a lot of responsibility. I am hungry for a challenge.

Plus it is a job where I wont have to wear black all day (yawn) I can wear fashionable glamorous clothes, get all dolled up for work. I would love it!!

When I asked for a job, they told me they were gonna come and ask me did I want a job anyway its a store right next door to me (they are opening a brand new one about a mile from here and they need someone to run it and get it going) and I have had numerous chats with the owner. He sees me here running the place everyday, he knows I work hard, am reliable and knows I am positive, enthusiastic and friendly.

Gawd I would be sooo disappointed if I don't get it.

We already discussed money. I told him what I am earning and they want to pay me less than that initially. I said I would be willing to take a hit on my income to start with but he said if I get the place going, increase sales and create good turn over-they are very fair and will definitely give me a pay rise.

ahhh jumping up and down, the suspense is killing me. I just want to know if I got it or not. Id be so much happier there then where I am now even if the money is bad. Me and my bf have discussed it and I know we will manage. I have to take a step backwards in order to move forward. Its the only way I can leave this joint

Its great that you are going for things thats in your heart. Im sure you gona be sucsesful and real overkill for that job.

thanks. im getting more and more anxious and i feel as though i wont get it as i havnt heard anything since.. fingers crossed though that i will know soon
