Looks are as important as personality is, imho. You need to find your SO attractive but that only means attractive to you, not to the masses, ya know.
What one finds hot is not what another might. Take a hot sexy girl who is a bitch and no personality or humor about herself or life and can't hold a convo, she gets dumped. So that should tell ya looks are not everything to most.

Why is everything about finding a guy?? Stop looking and one will come to you! Focus on YOU, on school/work, and becoming successful. Maybe take this single time to work on your self esteem and your confidence. If you do all this, someone will notice you, and someone will come along. I know many ugly people in relationships, but they're looks are the only thing ugly about them. Your personality (based on how you present yourself on this forum) is just as ugly as you claim your looks to be. If you don't want the world to be so focused on looks, then maybe YOU should stop focusing on them.

Doubt it. Why would anyone come to me? Why would they pick me over another girl? Even if I were beautiful, what is there that is special about me? Being ugly just makes things worse.

And whats with the obsession with sex? Arent you like 14? I didnt have sex till i was 18 coz i chose to wait and ive only been with 2. Why do you think the more you sleep with, the more attractive that makes you? The opposite is true IMO. If your looking to guys for validation you will never be happy. sex prooves nothing as far as beauty goes so dont use that as a way to try and boost your self esteem. IMO the most confident people (men and women) are the ones who dont think they need a certain number of notches on their belt.

If that is how I thought, then I shouldn't have been able to come up with the words I just told you.

Unlike some, I live my words, no matter how difficult it is because that is what having integrity is.

To answer, yes I would get into a relationship with a girl who is not considered pretty or is just plain, and make love as well. I would love her "imperfection" like it was true beauty(because to me, it would be) and only be attracted to her and no other girl. I was so devoted that I still had never seen porn or masterbated by the time I graduated High School because I only wanted to experience sexual things through her and no other way. Achieving that was the hardest thing in life, harder than any academic pursuit, but to me it was worth it.

I did it all for the hypothetical girl, no matter what she looked like, because she would be the only girl I do anything sexual with and the only girl who's body I would admire. Some found this idea laughable. I was called "the lost cause", "the blast from the past", because of my ways.

Unfortunately, the world doesn't recognize this as a merit and I never did find a girl. I eventually passed the age of 26, which was the limit for me, and now I cannot ever enter a relationship to keep true to my words.

You're under the impression that I "shag" for beauty, or that I shag at all. I never shagged in my life because I would only shag a single girl in life, and that would be the girl I choose to be my girlfriend/wife. I choose what I think is beatiful, and the body will follow that. That is why people in the past liked women that are considered ugly today.

So I only choose my wife as the only girl that is beatiful, and I am immune to all other girls. But since I have no girl in my life, and am too old to start at 28 by my own standards. And because I am single, I am immune to all girls. That is why no girl has ever been able to get me. To try to start a relationship with me using the physical will only get me to see them as a sister or make me outright immune to them. If a girl ever thought about getting to me through spiritual or emotional outlets such as friendship, a girl would have gotten me already, but because, as you said, the world thinks its all about looks and that they can only get what they want using looks, they never understood why I couldn't be gotten by anybody.

And to anybody that might think I am dissing physical attraction, I am not saying its bad, I am just saying its not for me and I don't find it fun to start off the relationship like that. I find it much more fulfilling it the physical happens after the spiritual or emotional side is developed fully. No offense, but I can't work any other way and I refuse to ever start things off physically. To show how much this is true, I still have never even kissed in the lips, something I was saving for the hypothetical girl that never appeared.

It doesn't pain me at all that I lived like this, I have enjoyed it, and the possibility of being single has always been a part of the deal and I was always in full acceptance with my life path.

Everybody likes look at and be around pretty people, but you don't have to be gorgeous to attract the opposite sex. In order to attract to the right person, girls need look clean, have confidence in themselves, dress properly, have some sense of fashion is necessary. If the person only has the outside is attractive, but has nasty personality and attitude, nobody would want to be around her. For ladies, not only we need look good from the outside, but more importantly, develop inner quality and strength, make self to be a confident person :-)
