How do I help this relationship?

I've known this girl throughout the summer (we've been taking this college class together). It wasn't until about 3-4 weeks ago that we really started talking and getting to know each other. We would get lost in conversations and enjoyed each other's company, so we've been going out non-stop for the past week and a half.

Yesterday she invited me out to a party with a bunch of her friends. I went with her and throughout the party I started to notice that she started avoiding me a little. Something was wrong, so I kept asking what was wrong until we both decided to leave. We talked and she said she felt confused. Basically, we agreed that things were going way too fast. I said that we should limit the amount of times we see each other throughout the week. And we should make fun plans rather than doing things spontaneously. I held her hand and walked her home, then kissed her goodbye.

I'll be very honest. I feel strongly about her. She said she sees a future with us, but it scares her. And she said she needed a moment to think things through. She spent so much time with me for the past two weeks, and in return I guess she hasn't spent as much time with her friends.

What can I do to help this relationship start out right? What can we do to make it go further? I think she's amazing and don't want to have anything go wrong.

Its over. 3-4 weeks in and shes "conused. I know people who were together 8years who tried to fix it by spending less time together. It doesnt work. They broke up and so will you

needing space is ALWAYS a bad sign no matterhow long you have been together so just save yourself the misery and dont bother dragging it out. Just walk away

Mate, 3-4 weeks of getting to know each other does not constitute a relationship. I suggest you chill out, keep seeing others and just see what happens.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

Well we talked before and sorted things out in terms of the relationship status. The only thing that gets in the way is that we've been spending too much time together from the get-go (like almost every day for about two weeks). I already know that. I've always had a problem with slow starts, so I did the opposite here.

I'll keep seeing her and see what happens. Without going into too much detail, we have a lot of chemistry and get along perfectly with each other. I did talk to her today on the phone, and things seemed perfect like before. I won't give up and walk away, that's for sure. Why would I give up? It doesn't make sense to me. If things don't work out, I'll take it as experience. Or if she happens to say that she needs space again, then that'll be it. I don't see it happening at this point. I'm not the best with relationships so I just wanted advice to start a relationship... not advice to just end it with her.

I guess I'm answering my own questions for the most part. Thanks for listening, guys.
