If you feel that it's too soon to bring your crush home, you're probably right. Don't do anything that you don't feel comfortable with just because your mother wants you to.

It also depends on whether or not meeting your mother has any significance. My mother (and my hubby's mother) has met pretty much everyone we've ever dated. Meeting the parents meant very little. I've known other mothers who say that the house was a revolving door of new and old girlfriends.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
