FWB Said "just play it by ear" guys what would your answer be to this ?

My FWB guy is going good giving each other space and still keeping in touch even if it isnt for sex talk, so at least hes not rubbering me and justs wants sex lol he said hes fine with staying at mine that wont freak him out.

I asked him how do we plan this like once a month the odd sleepover etc, when I asked him his reply was "just play it by ear" wtf is that is he wanting to take it slow and see how it developes or just keep it to random non planned days i've got so many answers to that question I want to know what you guys think when you say that to someone esp FWB situation i'm so confused any answers would help thanks

Sounds like you want more than FWB. Normally there aren't ANY strings attached. You call each other randomly, and decide if you can hookup. If you are feeling more then this is not a conducive situation to be in. You should not have any feelings or attachment just sex.

Well theres no feelings there its just the way he said "play it by ear" probably me getting the wrong idea

It means you don't make plans, certainly not plans for the month. You call each other when you want to ****. I've only been in a few fwb deals and we'd only plan something if one wasn't available "right then", and it would be plans like, happy hour the next day.
