what happened?

Sooo kind of a weird question, but I'll ask it anyways.

This guy I know from my fellowship expressed an interest in attending a new meeting I was checking out so I offered to give him a ride (he doesn't have a car and the meeting starts during commute hour) and he seemed really grateful for that, only to get sick and have to cancel. I told him if he felt better next week we could try it again. He said sounds good, but when I asked him a week later if he was still good to go he said he was going to check out some other meeting. The kicker is that this other meeting is one block from the meeting we were going to check out together. It's hard not to feel a little snubbed by this? We are not super close, but when we do talk we usually tease each other a bit, joke around. I'm very confused.

Hi AAcoffee, don't feel snubbed by this. Just suggest for a coffee with him. Once you get the initial phase, these little things will not matter much after that.

I would have the agree. Maybe suggest food, men like food. Also he might of just not been as interested as it seemed in that meeting. But I do want to know how it turns out.
