Hi :-) well Im new on here.I am a 31 year old female from Australia. I have made sooo many wrong and bad mistakes in relationships, been with the wrong types, abusive etc. Well... I seem to have finally met a guy who seems really nice. but I am a very paranoid person. He is nice in that he makes me dinner and takes me out bushwalking etc. But he also stands me up about %50 of the time. Example is that he was going to come and visit today (hes an hour drive away) and he cancelled this morning via email. the reason being he has started a new job and hasnt been paid yet and says he cant afford the petrol money. he did write can he visit me during the week after work? Its just hat i know it sounds normal, but this does seem to happen alot. He asked me if i was his girlfriend about one month ago, and i said yes. He is affectionate, and interested in what im doing. He compliments me. But he cancels ALOT. another time, he cancelled on coming to my birthday, although we had only been dating one month. OK so bottom line is this, am i being paranoid, should i just be cruisy and take it as it comes? Sorry i know this is the introductuion thread, but i really need advice. Sometimes he comes over on a Saturday and asks if he can stay over, then towards the end of the day he changes his mind and goes home :-(
