I get this feeling that I'm getting on her nerves.... I'm not texting her 24/7 365 so its nothing obsessive. Most of the times that we text I have to start the conversations.

Remember the push and pull method. It's best to be aloof and distant, act like you are busy, disinterested, answer with one word answers, don't answer texts right away and don't initiate it. Then she will try to get your attention. Once she does that you reward her with special attention, then pull away again.
Or, you could just wait and not text her at all and see if she likes you enough to find out where you went to. Be busy, don't wait around. If she's interested, she'll reach out to you. You can answer and have a bit of a conversation and then you ask her out. It's stupid to try and get and keep someone's interest through text. Show her in actions (by being with her) that you are interested if she's non-responsive then next her and find someone who, through her actions shows you that she is.
“The willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life is the source from which self-respect springs.” ~Joan Didion
