I've done some interesting things in my life. I traveled to thirty-four countries. I lived in four of them. I worked as a salesperson in the second biggest technology company in Taiwan. I saw two mainstream artists perform from second row center. I was the first American to ever enter the only Sikh gurdwara in Denmark. I ate dinner with the President of the Bank of China. I watched the sun come up over Ankor Wat and Hagia Sophia. I watched it set over the Pacific Ocean and the Bosphorus Sea. I held tiny orphans on two continents. I volunteered in a children's hospital, food pantry, AIDS house, and refugee camp. I was on Peruvian radio. I had a lead role in my high school play. I sang all night at John Lennon's 30th Anniversary memorial in Strawberry Fields. I attended a Zoroastrian New Year celebration. I walked under lines of cherry blossom trees in Andorra. I taught English to the victims of sexual abuse. I studied at least seven languages. I visited five churches in Kyrgyzstan for Easter. I met the Lord Mayor of Belfast. I was haled as one of the best classsical guitarists in my school. I went to the top of some of the world's tallest buildings. I hiked the mountains of Nepal. I organized a benefit which raised over $10,000. I interviewed a group of nuns who never leave their convent. I was part of an important business entourage. I played in a gamelan concert. I saw fireworks from three different locations at once in Uganda. I hand-delivered toys to street children. I composed a piece for orchestra. I went to over five colleges. I passed ASVAB. I got degrees in three subjects. I won a scholarship. I spoke to celebrities. I flew airplanes. I saw some of the most spectacular places in the world, met some of the most interesting people in the world, and did some activities that, to me, were the greatest things in the world.
But in spite of that, I have never been in a relationship. I have always been alone.
