this happens all the time OP. the first month or two you are just getting to know each other. It doesnt start to get serious until after that

You are both very young and one cannot expect to find the perfect "one" immediately. That is WHY you date, to try and find the right one. It really is a LOT better to find out in the beginning that it doesn't work that years down the line when you have invested lots of emotional time and effort. I know its confusing, but there really are may fish in the sea!
