sorry hon, but that does tend to happen if we leave the country. You'll find lots of people want a relationship with a person who's actually there.
I suggest you unfollow him on social media and start looking forward to a new future.Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

a case of out of sight - out of mind, he might not have forgotten you, but it isn't trying hard to keep contact with you because you are no longer there around him. wonder why he would even tell you he loved you before you left if he knew he'd go distant once gone. i agree with basil, and suggest you find a new person to date where you moved too now.

You went overseas.......he gave up.
We have had many come here in his position, wanting to express their feeling for someone that is moving away. I never saw the point in it, but anyways usually they just want to get it off their chest. I feel this is the case. He needed to do it so he can move on.
