Y'know, I got two messages from her today, which is abnormal for her to send me an e-mail or text without it being in response to one of my own (making it extra special). And even though I replied with a message that would warrant another reply, I'm specifically avoiding checking my e-mail just so I can look forward to a message tomorrow morning.

And between her and me, I always considered myself the more sentimental one as I'm more apt to expressing what I'm feeling blah blah blah. But when I was talkin' to her the other night, turns out, all those little notes and letters I've written to her goin' back to AmeriCorps, she's kept. Shit she told me she had the "Do you wanna go on a walk with me later? Check yes [ ] or no [ ]" note written on a scrap piece of paper.I slipped it into the book she was reading when she wasn't lookin' in Pensacola. (it was kind of a joke).

Just knowin' she's kept those things man, she's got a soft side I'd really like to see more of.
