That's a difficult profession on relationships, as you must know from conversations at work.

Why don't you take advantage of the professional counselling that is available to you and discuss your relationship issues there? The advice will be much more tailored to the specific difficulties of your profession. You'll get much better advice than here (btw, you misread a post--noone here has expertise in crim pysch--mine is in behavioural). I can see why you don't get books out of the library on this... I be you're exhausted by the time you get home.

Anyway, from what I've seen of friends married to LEOs (and shift workers like surgeons & nurses) the issue seems to be the wife/partner often feels emotionally neglected, more than usual (and dealing with issues of fear & stress). You two should arrange to have a regular 'date night' sans child to reconnect with each other on a continual basis. Good luck.

Well she broke my delima now is that I feel guilty. I think that I just pressured her to do it. Or she just felt that she was gonna loose me. Which one is it??????????? Maybe she thought that now that you know what she wants/needs you will take steps to provide it for her? Maybe she thought that she will give in to you as a token of good will because she trusts that you will do the right thing?
