If you want to believe that, I can't make you change your mind. But consider this paradox instead. You are all talking about true love being impossible without sex. But if a man, for the sake of love, cannot excercise some will and wait for sex, then what kind of love is that?

A person who is truly in love, for years, is content with just having a chance to see a person that he is in love with. I am talking about true love of course not just "finding someone hot and doable".

Hmmm....this thread seems right up my alley....here's my 2 cents.

Every living thing on this planet wants to have sex/procreate...it doesn't matter if you're a human, dog, fish, bacteria, or tree...as someone said it's a fact of life, necessary for life to go on, it's natural. Now most species have sex just for procreation means rather than because it feels good, but since humans have achieved such a high level of intelligence we know it feels good to have sex so we want to do it as much as possible, because after all who doesn't want to feel good? I would guess probably less than 1% of the time people have sex it is for procreation means. Probably even less. But here's the other thing, we are also intelligent enough to understand self control and other human's feelings.

Like I said everyone human that has ever lived wants sex, it doesn't matter whether you were born in 10,000 BC, will be born in 10,000 AD, are the sluttiest pornstar (haha if that's possible) or the holiest nun. It's impossible to control what your body naturally wants to do. But we can control resisting those urges. Now be honest how many of you out there are thrilled when your partner says they've had sex before. Is it comforting knowing that his d**k or her p**sy has been with another person's p**sy or d**k before you? In all honesty that's the main reason why I've chosen to wait for one woman. Some on here have accused me of being misogynistic, but it's quite the opposite, it's more of a lack of respect of most guys nowadays. Believe me I've been on sports teams, through engineering school and now work in a mostly male work environment, I've been around guys all my life and most of them have repulsed me in their thinking and actions regarding women and sex. I love women, though I don't respect the slutty ones, lol, and that's why I want to honor one by saving myself for her. I know I'm in the minority especially being a guy, but to the OP, just know that there are still decent guys out there who think like you and ones that aren't doing it just for religious reasons either.

Actually, there are organisms that don't reproduce sexually. Not everything needs or wants sex; in fact, most sex isn't for the biological purpose of reproduction.
Because we have to chase him. Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

I respect your point of view and the reasons you choose to wait.

But you ask "Is it comforting knowing that his d**k or her p**sy has been with another person's p**sy or d**k before you?". I have to say that I really don't care. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

if the guy respect & love her, sex will not be the top priority..
it is the 'beauty' within that keep the whole relationship going for very long time..

why are there so many comments about the guy being prepared to wait in the name of love and respect? Do these writers not realise that the average women is just as keen for sex in a relationship?

Didn't you get the memo? Human females are totally asexual. Women are too pristine, perfect, and pure in every possible way to feel something as disgusting, degrading, and oppressive to all women as the desire for sex. The only way men can get sex from them is to either coerce/trick them into it or do enough favors to buy his way into her pants. And of course rape, let's not forget that any time a man gets sex from a woman it's more likely he raped her than it is she consented.

If a man truly respects and loves a woman he will act like he is totally not sexually attracted to her and make her feel as undesired and sexually deprived as possible. If you don't understand that then you don't understand the meaning of TRUE love.

Now there's a guy who gets it. So true, bro.

I'm not sure your issue but I've never met anyone who had anykind of negative attitude with the fact their significant other has had sex with other people in the past.

I swear The human race is in devolution mode. Lol

And to think that I (a woman!) initiated sex with my partner on the day we met - and we're still very happy together 20 years later. I've seriously screwed things up, haven't I.

I don't think bacteria have sex. They kinda just multiply by cloning themselves.

Exactly. A lot of organisms don't reproduce sexually. Sex is overrated.

Impossible. You must have a hidden penis somewhere for that to be true.
