I like going through these little realisations from time to time. Today I'm beginning to see the difference between a person you love and a partner. And that difference I'm beginning to see is the role a true partner plays in helping you grow and in helping you come to certain realisations which are there in front of you, but you don't see them until they are revealed from a third person perspective. Love is love, but to help you grow in a positive manner and to open up your eyes, that's something... magical. It's so much deeper.

They should make you some kind of global spokesperson for "serious, committed long-term relationsips".

Ha! I read this as "Mish's GF told him he was being an ass again & he had to agree w/her, or else."

    Haha

Nah, that was like 4 months ago, we're way past that.

She actually offered some tremendous insight into some problems that I try to resolve (nothing to do with our relationship). And I'm just starting to see a new kind of worth of a partner. Love etc. are all great, but there're other things in a relationship which are deeper and they are very inspiring.

I finally finished Final Fantasy 12. Loved it! After a year of playing it on and off I see it as achievement of some sort. I missed two espers and some side quests (on purpose) so I might come back to it at some stage.

That is excellent to hear, Kitty.

I enjoyed a night out with my now ex-coworkers. After getting pretty smashed and having to send out resumes and write cover letters with a wicked hangover today, I think I need to take a break from the booze for a while.

I also enjoyed an intense training session at the gym the night before. My trainer was heaping the weight on to the point where my muscles just said "no," but it was nice to try and push myself. The workouts are giving me a feeling of accomplishment that has been lacking in my days since I lost my job.

Plus my trainer just gets hotter and hotter. He is some serious eye candy.

Finally had a chance to confess and talk about things with this girl I've got a serious crush on (was aiming to do it ages ago, but a bunch of bad luck always seemed to interfere with any meetings where it'd be just me and her in private), we both have feelings for eachother and as she's gone to Hong Kong for 20 days she'll be spending that time making a final decision as we're both looking for a serious relationship.

But I think my chances are really really good, so in 20 days we'll hopefully be a couple. Most amazing girl I've ever met.

I got an old game called "Fable" and I really enjoyed playing. One of those games which I found surprisingly hard to put down once you start playing. Now that I've finished FF12, I need something to occupy me in those time slots 7-8 in the evening and this did it perfectly.

I realised there are so many old games I still need to finish before I move on to the new; Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill 2, Onimusha 2, Devil May Cry 3, Gran Turismo 4, Metal Gear Solid 2, Farcry, Munch's Odyssey, Half Life 2, Legacy of Kain Defiance, The Warriors, Scarface, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - Just to name a few. Something tells me it will be a busy couple of months before I re-start my studies.
