They teach sex ed starting in Gr5 in Canada and Australian public schools. Don't know about the US or UK. Its a concession to preempting kids giving BJs on school buses & not thinking its sex. Also issues related to drugs, esp crystal meth, which sadly gets dealed even in middle schools.

The behavior of young teens are so much different from even my time. To avoid pregnancy or to "keep virginity" some of these teens would do the most sexual activity imaginable and feel they are practicing abstinence because they have not engaged in penis-in-vagina sex.

Teaching abstinence-only has made our population a little foolish.

I think to reduce the divorce rate what needs to happen is the couple need to be handcuffed to one another at the wedding ceremony (throw away the key) that way they will be forced to deal with each other's bullshit. You want a life together? Here is one without a possibility of parole (that would most likely eliminate cheating too)

And you have greatly if not completely elminated marriage.

The strange thing is that I believe a very small minority of women would probably still agree to marriage but it's likely the man would not.

I wonder if saying 'I could never date any other nationality' is the only reason you can't do it? A subconscious effort on your part to want to be close-minded to other possibilities...

It's hard to be close-minded in life... since the world is full of so much you can't control... and so much that you could enjoy if you weren't so insistent on avoidance of anything different. So much easier and more honest to just say, 'I haven't dated other nationalities yet.'
