it's not a big argument, you arrogantly refused the truth based on your own ego and pride while continuing to insult the irish and my intelligence when quite clearly i knew..meh it's not that uncommon for you

Eco knows she is stupid, I am not. So I am not offended in the slightest.

What I find interesting is how Eco gets all het up about this, says that making a distinction b/t the 'two Irelands' is wrong, but is perfectly fine with insulting an entire people (those of N. Ireland - who aren't Irish by her standard). I mean, I am certain they would be offended to hear her say they are NOT Irish. LOL. Eco is a hypocrite AND stupid. Must be all that IRA brainwashing as a child.

EDIT - Eco, this is only YOUR truth. Wiki disagrees with you (I posted the link already), I disagree, Ygg disagrees. Plus you insult an entire other country that also considers themselves Irish. So? Who has the problem here? Not me. Ygg posted the map already. I suggest you have another look.

You have got to be one of the most arrogant, pompous posters I have ever had the displeasure to read. Why the constant boorish, browbeating? If your online demeanor is indicative of your interpersonal skills, it's small wonder you "choose" to stay home at night, with your wine and Chopin.

people who live in northern ireland and consider themselves irish ARE IRISH. just as much as people who live in england and any other country call themselves irish, again you're showing your ignorance

I am Canadian. We are English, French, Irish, Spanish, Arab, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Russian, Indian.... etc.

I think what Eco is trying to do is despicable, actually. She would actually tell someone from N.Ireland they weren't Irish (unless they were actively bombing the London tube, probably).

Its like someone who grew up in West Germany telling someone from East Germany they weren't German (before the wall came down).

You disagree with the map, Eco??

Seriously, Eco. Is the map right, or not? Funny, both countries say 'Ireland'....

And then (if you can manage more than one task at a time), if you agree the map IS correct, then what is it I posted EXACTLY (please quote my post) that disagrees with that?
