I really dislike my bf's daughters 2nd grade teacher. My bf's daughter has ADHD up the wazoo, I think there are some other underlying issues but am not sure. Say what you will about ADHD vs just a regular old rambunxious child...whatever. She's got something and her meds usually help out pretty good. The lady is just not trained to deal with children who act out of the normal realm. His daughter was sent home today because she wasn't focusing. WTF? Regulate teacher, she gives up way too easily. Don't call the parent and tell them to come get the kid. She wasn't being disrespectful as far as talking back or being being naughty to other kids. She couldn't sit still and pay attention so she gets sent home for the day? Apparently one of her meds rolled under the counter this morning, unknown to my bf and she missed her medication dose. Still though. In my day there were consequences, staying inside for recess, visit to the principal's office, a time out, etc...

I started ranting yesterday about a number of things..especially the video of the helicopter pilots murdering the Iraqis.

Hmmm something tells me it's a personal Vendetta from a specific Mod, I'm not saying you shouldn't control yourself like you didn't in that thread, but I don't agree with banning someone for no good reason and just because of something personal or a single "overreaction".
