I just read that N.Ireland folks can also have an Irish passport.

So, do they call themselves Irish, or not? LOL.

I think you'll find Loyalists refer to themselves as British while Nationalists refer to themselves as Irish. While they may hold an Irish passport, they pay their taxes to and receive any and all social benefits from Britain.

The extension of an Irish passport to citizens of Northern Ireland is due to the Republic of Ireland's contention that Ireland should be whole and undivided.

There is only one official country on the map recognized as Ireland today which is self sufficient and has right to self determination. But there is also another unofficial Northern Ireland which is part of UK and there are also people who recognize themselves as Irish which are born in different parts of the world (including Europe, US, Australia, Africa...). So both points of view are right and both parties should recognize the valid input into this debate by the other. Can we now move on to something different before someone asks what is the "real" Kurdistan the one part of Iraq, Turkey or Iran.

You have to love Ecos very selective copying of Mish's post. I guess you didn't understand what Mish wrote either. LOL.

Spicy - you are welcome to post your very own witty pictures, instead of relying on those more intelligent than you to lead you along. I give full marks for initiative and originality.

Anyways... you're ok by my standards, as long as you can maybe be a bit more moderate on the insults. I mean.. sure, it's fun sometimes, but it really doesn't contribute to a civilized exchange of information (dialogue / debate).

I find it more constructive to call maybe the argument of source idiotic, not the person.

You can't really take my insults personally because I almost never mean them. They just add flavor and passion to any discussion

This little snippet reeks of bitterness, frustration and oestrogen creams.

Hey I know, have some wine, perhaps listen to a little soothing Chopin. You know the routine.
