I've taken a few courses and done quite a bit of reading. I love philosophy. It's too bad I can't make a living on it, or I'd pursue a doctorate.

I love philosophy to...I'm a few classes from a BA but like you said...doesn't make much money with it...last I checked there aren't a lot of postings in the paper looking for a philosopher....I'm going into law though so philosophy is kinda important in terms of bein able to understand how to break issues down, know what questions to ask, and then make an argument regardless of what you actually believe.

You know how french are, they don't like to do such "scandals" . And btw, she left so suddenly, I thought she just went to the toilet but she really has gone !! They all spoke after this incident , she will not be invited to parties together anymore. My dr keeps prescribing me this horrendous antibiotic for this lingering bladder infection, it makes me SO nauseated and just wrecks my tummy. I have no appetite but you are suppose to take it with food, which I do. I know if I don't there will be barfage. Still though I just feel like I'm going to throw up 24/7

I asked her to switch me, Bactrim seemed to be working and had no side effects but she's insistent on keeping me on this one and just told me to be sure I defintely have a meal with the medication.....which is what I have been doing. Ugh. Another 7 days of nausea.

Did she say why? I do hate when drs don't seem to listen to you. Or at least that is what it feels like. I understand they see a lot of people throughout the day and maybe the get tired of answering questions or just assume that we know what they mean by their actions but we don't always....I didn't go to school for that.

I'm talking mainly about my mom, she had a knee replacement and while she was in the hospital they told her she didn't breathe right so they wanted her to be tested for sleep apnea. She went and got tested and they told her she had it and wanted her to get a machine to help her breathe at night.

So they sent her to a specialist who told her that her tonsils were large and that was the cause and that taking out tonsils at her age is risky.

But mom didn't want to sleep with a machine so she wanted to have her tonsils takin out and they kept trying to put her on the machine and she really did feel like they were not listening to her. I mean in the end it is their medical opinions that she uses to decide upon the direction she takes her health care. Yet at the same time it is her body and her decision to make. They can't make it for her. Her tonsils needed to come out and that fixed everything.

She seemed to feel this antibiotic was the best way to go, healing wise.

So I get to be miserable for another 7 days.

i'm annoyed that my neighbors on both sides of me are so out of control.

one of them has these dogs, one of them barks all night and he knows how to climb our brick wall and sometimes gets into our yard. i've decided that next time he's on the wall or on my yard i'm going to take him to the pound. can't be having that at all.

then there's a lady on the other side of me who has dementia pretty bad and she comes pounding on my door on weekend mornings and all other times of the day screaming. i filed a report on her because her daughter refuses to put that woman in a home or get her some full time care. can't be having that either.

not with a baby coming.

it's too bad because the dog isn't bad. he's just not trained. it's a matter of a neglectful dog owner. out of all kinds of people i despise, neglectful dog owners are up there high on the list.

the old lady, well i feel sorry her. her daughter ocassionally comes to visit her. i talked to her one day and asked for her number so i could call if anything was going and she refused to give it to me. so i i had no choice but to get adult protective services involved. her daughter is being neglectful, in my opinion. people who neglect their elderly parents annoy the fuk out of me as well.
