I had a pretty great weekend at the cabin with my family. Got to have dinner with my grandpa last night and after dinner my mom, grandpa, and I sat on the dock and caught sunfish and bass. It was wonderful.
Today I got to spend some time in the water with my niece and nephew. My 3 year old niece is such a little dare devil, "Flip me off the floaty thing again, Jen! Throw me off the dock!!!!"So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?

I enjoyed that the tall, lanky Arab guy that caught my eye during my drum circle last week sat right next to me tonight. And I enjoyed that he was smiling and showing off for me. And I enjoyed his perfect profile and the dark hair on his forearms and the look of his bare feet. And I enjoyed that he stopped his car in the parking lot to speak to me on the way out.
