My favorite people were working with me yesterday. It always makes the day pass nicely when you are working with pleasant, funny, happy people. The bitter, lazy sourpusses should stay home every weekend!
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I agree^, working with people who make you feel good about doing the job takes out most of the frustration out of work
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
    God or the Devil

Today I enjoyed watching South Park while my mother sat behind me playing boggle. She kept exclaiming how offensive and crude the description of Mr. Garrison's sex change was. Made me laugh.

Made a nice chunk of change tonight hosting a large private party AND working a second station when my coworker couldn't handle it.

And the cute boys that parked next to my car and chatted me up while I was on break. And then finding out upon returning to my car that night that one of them left his number on my car, asking me to call him.

And now for two days off and hopefully lounging with the boyfriend tomorrow

I ended up sending that gross, 400 lb patient (i had him 4 shifts in a row) to another floor today (yay!). Unfortunately, not before I had to clean up about 10 lbs of feces laced with C-diff.

    But at least he's gone!!!!

I'm not "thanking" the second sentence.

That's okay, I didn't thank him either. But I DID thank the CNA who helped me.

Boyfriend took care of me after my semi-sick state became a full blown cold. Wor Won Ton soup, video games, little bit of tequila, and an aloe massage form my sunburn.

And I quit smoking a few days ago. Again. But for good this time. I can do this

    caramel apple donuts

    working a half day today

    all weekend off

get my bf all to myself this weekend: farmers market, baking, and sitting on the deck are in store

we're having dinner/drinks at our favorite hole in the wall bar tomorrow night
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

Got my internet hooked up finally.
Completely baffled by a backward indication
That an inspired word will come across your tongue
Hands moving upward to propel the situation
    Have simply halted
    And now the conversation's done

I just had a creative afternoon. I'm going to wet my pants with what I did, I've had some of the best ideas I've had in the last couple of years and made them look awesome.
