Right, change in migration laws, looks as if my girlfriend's gonna be forced to take off in August unless they'll be lenient (miracle in itself), so that'd pretty much be the end of it.

I'm annoyed that I am supposed to be going down to visit my bro/sis in laws for the weekend, but my wife wants to bring two other nephews because she "cannot get hold of someone else to watch them" after calling only once. I told her to call until she got hold of him, and she got all pissed saying that I was disrespecting them. WTF? There will already be 4 kids there, so if you can avoid having two more why not? I didn't say that I didn't like them and didn't want them to go because of that, I just said that if you can get someone else to watch them then you should. We're going to be down there for four days grilling food, drinking, and (I thought) enjoying adult conversation. That became a non issue once she got an attitude. I don't think I'm going now. She can be such a bitch. I just bought my bro in law a new grill though. Maybe I'll drive down, give it to him, and drive back. :S

If there are already four kids going, you weren't going to have much drinking and adult conversation anyway; why shouldn't they go? They are related. That's the way families work. You seriously didn't know that?

All the others are girls and they all play well together. The boys don't. Their mother will not be there to watch them. Normally her cousin watches them when something comes up (like it did this time). Wife called him and didn't get an answer, so she decided to just bring them. Since I am bringing a new grill, a huge box of beer, and clothes for three people for four days having two extra bodies in the car will be a problem. I have no problem with the boys, but it will be a problem with them coming this weekend. Even though it is a problem I didn't flat out say that I was opposed to them coming, I just wanted her to make absolutely certain that her cousin couldn't watch them.

    Migraine from absolute hell.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Of course when only looking at the watching the kids aspect. I am pissed because she coped an attitude instead of simply attempting to contact her cousin again. Yes watching someone else's kids is very thoughtful. I just can't stand the attitude and negativity.

Can't you get rid of that by looking into a camera as it flashes while listening to heavy metal with ear buds turned all the way up?

JK. I feel sorry for you, especially since you're probably at work.

Of course, she may be saying the same thing about YOU right now. Just sayin'.....

Why don't you just call the cousin yourself?

I don't have his number. It's her cousin. He's a nice guy, but I've never had a need to call him when she wasn't around. I've fixed a few things at his house, but the wife usually calls to let him know when I'm coming. As far as my attitude goes.... She probably is saying the same thing, but I don't care at this point. She likes to find ways to perpetuate her own anger. I used to try not to get angry when she got angry, but it never ends until she calms down. F*ck that. Now I allow myself to be angry since it is only human after all. This morning I was coming out of the kitchen while wiping my eye and she rushed past without trying to avoid my obvious midair elbow. My elbow hit her shoulder and she said "oh you're not even going to say....", and before she could finish I said "excuse YOU". It didn't help the situation, but she could have avoided my elbow (especially since my finger was in my eye anyway). Oye.... This weekend is going to suck no matter now I slice it.

Actually, you and your wife sound a lot alike.... except she sounds like she is more tolerant of kids.

Thats true......now. I used to be a lot more tolerant of all things and a lot more laid back. All of the kindness, and tolerance that I used to have was taken for weakness. She crushed that persona into the ground. He is dead. Honestly speaking she is generally more tolerant of children, but the children weren't the main issue here. Well I'm off today (although I am at the office right now), so I've got to get back to the bs factory (home) and see what kind of misery I'm in for this weekend. Yay :S

Had the same thought myself. Its better to get upset about something as opposed to just solving it oneself.

I'm not really annoyed about much right now. Its raining, I suppose, but even that is good for all the flowers I just planted.
