Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

Bow-chuka-wow-wow...
I love the internet and late night skina-max...

Wow. A whole thread dedicated to material possessions and desires just shows how accurate this is:
"Life’s about film stars and less about mothers
It’s all about fast cars and passing each other
But it doesn’t matter cause I’m packing plastic
and that’s what makes my life so f***ing fantastic" ~ Lilly Allen (The fear)
actually lastwish, there is a reason behind this thread. if vashti wanted to, she would've started a Living Beings we Love thread.
mo'Dajvo' pa'wIjDaq je narghpu' He'So'bogh SajlIj
LOL! Are we only allowed to love people and animals? How ridiculous! You've gotta lighten up, lastwish. You sound like one of those self-righteous emo kids. The only reason I didn't include people and animals is because those loves are pretty universal, and as such, don't tell you much about a person.
EDIT: Actually, most of the things people love are actually quite simple, and often involve warm, fuzzy feelings.

I'm sure there is. I have a reason writing this post as well.
I haven't said that we are only allowed to love people and animals. LOL. You gotta have to stop putting words in people's mouths. And, hey, there's nothing wrong with loving material things. Just not excessively (not that I am trying to make the point that you do).
Btw, loving people and animals aren't universal. In fact some people hate other people and some hate animals. And what type of people someone love and whether he/she like animals or not does tell you alot about the person.
Then why bother criticizing? It's just dragging down the feel of this thread. Your post is like a big black cloud on a sunny day.
I disagree. Anyway, I didn't want a boring thread with everyone posting "I love my boyfriend" or "I love my cat/dog". It's too easy.
Now pretty please, post what you love, or post in another thread.
Anyway back to the thread:
1.Getting in bed and snuggling with my guy for hours when i'm stressed out...or not stressed too.
2.My car and going for nice long drives on sunny days with the windows rolled down and music blasting
3.My sewing machine
4.Fresh new fabric waiting for me to make something out of it
5.New socks!
6.StarBucks Chai lattes with extra whipped cream
7.Non-fiction books
8.Hot tubs
9.Comfortable clothes
10.Huge purses...cute ones
too many to list
Vash, you're really a sweetheart. I'm sorry if I've ruined your thread. I've never considered criticisms as negative thing. I always thought they were ways to give flavour to conversations. I wasn't trying to suggest anything negative about you; just drawing criticisms to one aspect I see in the thread.
i love all my non living stuff.
particularly my computer, my phone, my guitar, those metal shelves that are super easy to put together.
yeah, i love all that stuff.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
I love my stuff... because it's MINE...
Nothing more valued than ownership of something you worked hard to get...

Shorty - you are allowed to love your wife and baby because they are new.
