Would I go out with someone who had a kid etc. She then pulled her brothers GF over who was also a single mom and said 'he doesn't thing single mum's ARE slappers' I thought it very strange for this day and age but.....

I mean this is 2006 where a high percentage of kids born are to single mothers. And these were the questions this girl was asking me obviously based on past experiences/reactions.

He didn't just "date" her. He lived with her and the kid, which made him a surrogate father. Their stuff is still in his house. This is much more complex than simply "he dated her", and the girl he "loves" after four dates knows it.
