I actually had to look up 17 HMR. It's not a very common caliber used here.

I think the biggest rimfire gun people use around here is 22LR

Typically see 22LR 223 270 and 30-06

People with pistols usually carry 45 acp

I do occasionally meet someone who likes to shoot different sizes, like 243 and 9mm.

Yeah I know, when I bought my assload of 7.62x39mm bullets it averaged about 24cents a round. Now I think the price is nearing 40cents a round because the insurgents in the Middle East are buying up all the ammo
