When you first lost weight? You got fat again and than lost it for a second time? Maybe you should stay fat if being fat attracts the guys you like but don't complain when the guys who don't like bigger women don't give two shits.

And... just *maybe* the girl you make cry b/c you called her fat WILL be motivated enough to think "fuk you...I'm gonna hit the gym and get skinny then!". Just like I hope some people will think a bit more when I ride them hard.

But yes, it does make you an asshole. No point denying it.
I doubt that he has a philanthropic motivation like the one you describe. Personally, I think the OP just gets off on making smart ass comments. I have a friend just like this. He shoots first, asks questions later and then wonders why he alienates his friends and has no girlfriend or at least one that he can hold on to for a while. I think he feels like if he wins a verbal spar, however mean it gets, that it somehow makes him "better" than other people and he can get a little ego boost for a while. Correct me if I'm wrong though, OP, and feel free to let us all know why you make comments like that.

Oh, nevermind, you have explained why you make comments like that. Yep, you're just like my friend. He's a great guy when you really get to know him deep down. He's never very happy though.

    The a**hole repellant.

No one ever warns you when you set out to lose weight, that for every pound you lose you find a jerk trying to climb up on you.
    That's hilarious.

Men are nice to fat chicks because they feel sorry for them. Of course I'm just kidding.

Yep, cause those who are desperate for attention often don't care whether or not it's positive or negative.

Okay, if asking me out constantly counts as 'being nice'.

When I got skinny, I'd just have guys come up to me in the bar and say "Hey, wanna go back to my place?" or even more simply "We should ****."

    Ew, so slimy.
