If you answer yes to the above questions then you didn't do anything wrong as long as your text was in the lines of.. hey! its _____, i just found out you go to school w/my boy and wanted to say hi. I'm sorry for getting your number this way...
iF I recieved a random text from a guy that i didn't give my number to I wouldn't respond. However if I knew him from before and am in a position to talk then I'd probably text you back.
iF she hasn't then don't bother, give it some time!
