So no on the birthday?
That's fine, the sooner the better. This is long overdue.

As this means what? That she has to work harder? That's not necessarily true. I know men that are the ones that stay home to nurture their children. I also know men who DO share in the household chores and rearing the children, do the shopping etc. The expectations need to be agreed upon before getting married. Get prepared, get premarital counseling first.
Personal note*After our third date, I laid down my expectations right away and gave him the choice to stay or say nay. I don't BS around. And yes I'm well aware that child birth is painful, and raising kids sucks the every living life out of you....that's why I said no F-ing way.

Congratulations. I just checked prices...a one carat from Tiffany's is $9,100. Uh, yes...I think less than one carat would be more than okay
It's Tiffany's. Their stainless steel start from around $150 or $200 (bracelets)
I like being married... (most days)

Congrats Frasbee, way to man-up and do it.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.
If you do it a few days before her birthday, no way will she be expecting it....i'd go for not on the birthday.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
