I can't see it, won't work, but if its rap or rock then it blows.

    "When the sun shines again
    I see you standing there
    My happiness knows no bounds
    I can't resist you

    When the sun shines again
    I call your name
    I'm secretly in love
    hoping you notice me

I've got butterflies flying through my belly
    When i see you
    I dream of you daily
I will not forget you with hope of you noticing me"

well, that's the first minute of that thing which might loosely be called a song. I need some time to grow some balls to get me through the other two minutes.

ow and misombra: I greatly despise you for making me do this

Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

well, you might want to reign in that respect.....cause unlike me, there are a lot of people who do like this kind of music. There's actually a big market for these kind of songs, and not just in Holland, but in countries like Germany and Belgium as well. Actually, these kind of songs regularly make it into the hitparade.....and I'm not talking position no. 40, but top ten on a pretty regular basis. Which means a lot of people actually buy these singles.....the horror

well, seeing as all of us come from different countries with different languages we would inevitably end up speaking english, which kind of makes the point of an international thread useless, as we can't publicly loathe Americans without you guys noticing it hehe.....j/k

and in reply to vashti.....i've noticed the kind of songs that usually make it into the American hitparades.....and quite honestly I wouldn't feel too proud either, though I concur it's still leagues ahead of Dutch hitparades.
From your comment I deduce you're a Democrat, so my respect to you for that
