If brothers and sisters fantasize about each other, then it's for the same reason a person would fantasize about anyone else -- there's attraction there. In this case, incestual attraction.

So, if you are fantasizing about your sibling, then you have incestual desires which aren't socially acceptable.

Joking that she wants to **** him is just... ehhh... very un-sisterly.

I only have a stepsister, and we make the most ****ed up jokes and tease eachother all the time, we have never, and I do mean never, ever, ever made a joke remotely borderline close to incest. Ever.

Thats just a really disturbing line to cross. And to do it so over the top, that suggests something more. This is really ridiculous:

First of all, these are private conversations, so its not like she's joking to others to be funny. She's talking directly to him. She is making, joking-sounding comments about sex with him, which is a ridiculous thing to be thinking about, let alone vocalize. And then she says, repeatedly, that she wants to bang him, just crosses some ridiculous lines.


Look, it could be that this is how they joke. I frequently make joking comments towards friends that are sexual in nature and they know I'm not serious. It could be that it really is just a joking compliment. Which I do hear people say to eachother, though never siblings. Usually they are along the lines of: "yeah look hot, I'd hit it." I see girls say that to eachother, hell, even guys, and its usually a pretty joking comment not meant to be serious. Maybe she's complimenting that he's looking good and she's saying it as a joking aside.

However, I think thats unlikely. I think there is some weird sexual tension between your boyfriend and his sister. And even if they've never acted on it, and maybe never will, frequent comments of wanting to bang one another are just downright disturbing and have no real place in a family. There is a difference between a one time joke and a constantly repeating pattern. Does your bf ever make similar comments in return?

I totally agree.. Laugh about it.. Even though it seems a bit twisted, do not shun it.. It is obviously a part of their relationship, so just go a long and hope that they do not cross the line between joking and being serious
