Really sounds like you need to talk to him about it and relax....if you are a virgin it may be a bit painful if not done VERY carefully...

haha, the fingering days. That's the 14y.o guy's equivalent of getting laid. "Didja finger her?" was always the big question then. It's the girls I feel sorry for. None of us had the slightest clue of what we were doing. We thought vaginas were a bit like electrical sockets then, just stick it in and watch it vibrate.
To the OP I'd just grab his hand and guide it through the motions for him. Exactly the way you'd like it done. Sounds like it'll be a steep learning curve for him.
