You've said yourself you are probably average in size but you still don't feel good about yourself. AND you've basically said your're worried about sex.
It's nothing to do with size - it's all about confidence and that can only come with experience. My penis is about average size but seems to do the job as my GF is perfectly happy with out sex life. YOu just need to get out there and try to stop worrying about sex.

I do act confident. It is not something that would be obvious, or would appear to get me down, but it is just how I feel inside. I don't show it though.
