So far I haven't been able to settle on something. I'm very rarely depressed...until now that is. I guess I've been watching too much TV and smoking. Smoking way too much.

I have a marble composition notebook too.

And lately, I've been feeling sad and lonely, but I haven't been writing in it. It makes me sad to not write in it. Yea, a lot of the bad things that I don't tell people are in there, but sometimes, it's the only pair of listening ears that I've got.

Now, when I get depressed, I call my friends up. I don't tell them what's wrong. In fact, I try to not talk about what's wrong. And eventually, their joy rubs off on me and I feel better.

Yeah. That's what confused me. Three syllables on the last line. Then I forgot how many lines it was supposed to be...and the rest is history. Reminds me of the old joke about the father teaching his son how to pee in the toilet. Ever hear it?

Doing something physical will get out some of your aggressions.
Lol....Thats exactly what I do. I sit at my drums and beat them without
mercy...mostly during anger sessions. Its good, and it signals to all those

Deppression usually comes when there are not much physical acts, like physical work. Thats also the reason why everything was better in the old days.
I have been watching people and I have seen that people who work on the construction sites as simple builders etc are much more happy than men who do just plain office work etc.
When I was on a physical work, I was much happier and I didn't feel any depression.
    Don't expect anything.

higher IQ = higher levels of depression

This could be why you see less depression with physical laborers as opposed to those working in intellectual fields. That, and physical laborers are too physically tired to sit around contempleting the things in life that are worth being depressed about.

    Exactly.

I used to get really down durin' the summers I didn't have a job.

My friend even now only works 3 days a week.

He's been doin' the whole contemplate life thing with his spare time.

So much that he went from havin' complete faith in God to doubting his existence.

That made me happy and scared me at the same time.
